Before Forever Survey
Considering engagement? Discern the next step with confidence.
Rooted in Catholic teaching, the Before Forever Survey helps couples look at emotional, spiritual and practical compatibility, shared values and vision for marriage, and areas of strength and potential conflict. Each partner completes the survey separately, then you review the results together.

The Before Forever Survey is our own questionnaire. The Before Forever pre-engagement program uses the FOCCUS Inventory, which is separate. You can take the survey on its own, before the program, or alongside it. You may share your report with your priest or a mentor couple if you choose.

How it works
- 1Tell us what you’re interested in. Use the form to choose the assessments you’d like.
- 2Katie sends your questionnaire. You receive a private online questionnaire for each assessment.
- 3Complete it on your own time. Answer honestly and in one sitting if you can. Couples each complete their own questionnaire separately.
- 4Katie writes your report. She reviews your answers and sends you a personal written report.
- 5Review it together. Book a coaching session with Katie to go through your results and your next steps.
This assessment is a tool for formation and discernment, not psychological testing, diagnosis or therapy. Katie may use an AI writing tool to help draft your report. She reviews and edits every report herself before it is sent.
